The debt now exceeds the GDP. Bottoms up...I've been anxiously awaiting this for quite awhile now.

Wait a minute. Was it the tea party folk that prevented the Obamageddon troops from fixing this when they absolute control of legislative government? Was it the tea party folk that spent so much that an increase in our national debt limit was needed? I know your Obamageddon leader says we should raise it, because we have before...but, if that was such a good idea so many times before why are we in this predicament now?
Seriously, nobody needs to compromise. If all the "progressives" would follow their moral/desires/tenets and started paying in more tax than current tax law requires, they could have their bigger government handouts. Meanwhile, the majority of Americans who believe government is too big can watch you circle the drain without paying any extra taxes to contribute. But, then again, everyone loses if you win. Don't you see that?
How many of you progressives that think we don't pay enough taxes actually walk your talk by paying in more while you don't have to?
