So monday is going to be 2 weeks from the start date...and Some of us have yet to hear yes or no! Are they going to inform us by monday so we can put 2 weeks notice in ??? This is sort of ridiculous!
Ok thank you, when I interviewed back on 2/16 I was told a start date of March 28th which is why I thought I would have heard by now. but it seems as though most people have received offers that I interviewed with. Must just be waiting for a rejection.. ughh oh well
I accepted the offer and was told a week later that I had to relocate closer to my territory. At no point in my interviews was relocation discussed. I am a homeowner and I don't think I should have to sell my house for a two year job. I've thought about renting it out but where I live its very unlikely that I could get a renter bcuz there are so many cheap apts. Available. Any thoughts?
Take the job, tell them you'll work on moving. Show them you don't need to in the meantime. At the very least you can get paid while looking for the next thing to show up. I wouldn't be relocating for these jobs unless I could do it without much risk.
Kelly Wright. Thanks for letting me know whether I will recieve an offer or not. Since it's been a few months with no contact, I will presume no offer forthcoming. Class act! You have me phone screen with one of your peers, complete a background check on someone with multiple years pharma experience, multiple president's club wins and don't even have the decency to send me an email. That's ok, wasn't interested in Statesville or Macon.I agree! Take the job. I did, but I don't plan to stay long enough for that year end performance review. I just need the money and the additional experience on my resume. Selling Lilly products is the least of my worries. I'm just as committed to their success as they are to mine. So grab the opportunity, as it will give you time to find a better one.
