Missing salary thread...

Doors are open because they are looking at just hiring bodies not talent. They dont respect their reps. They have cut our salary each year for the past five. What they have done which is smart on their end is not make the changes right away but gradually over those five years so with each little cut people stay and accept it until managment has brought each rep down to150k a year. Thats where your going. Look at how well people are doing this year. I bet most are not makimg any money.

they interviewed me for an assoicate rep spot and offered 75k...

that's good if you have 1-3 years of sales, or coming out of college. but, an experienced sales pro is just not going to take this seriously.

Now, I have over 10 years in medical and asked for an interview for the rep job. no dice. I laughed. I know some of your reps. its 50/50 on talent. still, i think your company is a bit strange, when you consider the history of the company and people that were running it.
in other words, Olympus is totally dead end.

Shall we relive the scandal? I'm ready to...

So says the moron who doesnt see whats coming down the line. They are cutting everyone and you all will be between100 and 150. They did it to GI now to urology. Its a matter of time before energy and surgical. Its how the company operates and with richard in charge it will be micro managment at its finest.

that's what she said.

they also cut GI salaries back years ago. Now they range from the top 5 reps doing in the 300's down to 150. Ask around, moron. Used to be a lot more, so no Im not wrong. Olympus own's the market they dont need to incentive their reps to stay or keep the accounts. This has also trickled down to urology. But stay take what scraps they give you. Have fun with all the pharma reporting too. Even if they did pay you when would you have time to sell with all the paper work. Lame company for upscale pharma reps.
