ok so all the first round derm hire reps are about gone (the good ones anyway). i think the second wave will come after this bs vegas meeting. vegas?? for what? to show us reps management can get out of irving for a day or two and think they are doing us a favor? id rather do webcam meetings and have us paypal money for awards. save your travel money.

Not ex-pharma here: This management mentality will prove to be the demise of business. Incentivize the reps with attainable goals and you’ll see the growth. Keep doing what you have been and watch the base business erode. Do a better job at managing and stop hiding behind your corporate desk.

Spoken like a corporate VP or SVP who has never sold an account in this business, but quick to point out an SD how easy it is to sell an account, and how tough you have it watching TV in your office, and explaining to Miraca how hard you work, and how busy you are with all those meetings that don't produce tools or new products to a market that you are 2 years behind.
