Minimum age to work at Lilly?

You must have a college degree, so the minimum age would be roughly 20. If you graduated before the age of 20, you rock and should be doing something better with your life!

I did, I graduated at 19. I'm 20 now. Anyway, the only reason I'm looking into this is to stow away the cash. I need some capitol for my business and this is a great paying position in my area. Why would you say to do something else?

Yes, 22. You have to be a competant in basic knowledge of chemistry and biology, nice physique and overall apealing persona. If you are under 27, most likely you may not get interview. Optimal age is arounds 29 and max 38 (just my feeling). If you know someone inside Lilly it will help, but it has to be exec. vp level. Good luck.

Can you link me where you found this information? I have a f2f interview with someone on Thursday, there were no questions leading to a minimum age but I'd rather not go through the interview if they will say I am not their minimum age yet. Thanks!

Usually MBA is required. Unless you obtained MBA at 19, you are smart. There are far superior companies than Lilly. If you can take exceptional road, seek overseas marketing position with likes of Roach, Glaxo and the hidden gem, Nestle. Are you male or female? Also are you from Indy area? These are some of the qualifiers. CEO got hired at age 23 I think (+/- 1).

I'm a Female, not from the Indy area but the position is in Abilene, TX which is where I'm from. I am looking to work with Lilly until I have enough experience to be accepted into the University of South Carolina's international MBA program.

One year..OK..longer ..you are nut.
Go take a job at Roche or other well managed companies
Bain, PriceWaterCooper,
or just work for Peace Corp in MachuPichu. That experience will get you any where you wish...but stay away for pharma. This is a business of lies and more lies, from which to escape will torment you ...animadvert notice from other posters.

Sadly, there are many Lilly parents with a mental age beneath that of their kids' chronological age - and they get job security just because of the sympathy vote.

One reason Lilly is a sinking ship.
