Mike Zarelli Pleads Guilty

TFS says that there were only a few bad apples. Yeah, right. The corruption was so widespread and imbedded in Phadia culture. Wonder which "leader" gets indicted next?

If the FBI were in Dallas investigating they would discover that blood was brought down. It was brought down because we wanted access to ELIA and a lab was willing to do it. Why wouldn't we, everyone else was getting 2 for 1 ImmunoCap credit for every ELIA test while we set here being ranked and compared without a level playing field. They will also see that only about 25 test ended up happening because the plug was pulled due to logistics and timing of transporting the blood. Also the rep of that lab was trying to go after ImmunoCap business and we were lab neutral and couldn't have that. The same thing held true last year, while it was not 2-1, ELIA made a lot of years for people elsewhere while us CSCs here in Texas and some other parts of the country were at a disadvantage. It's been nothing but clean business the whole time here in Texas and the manager you are referring to was one of the best this company has had.

I have to agree with this post.. Whoever tried to write something about the Texas Dm, is really messed up. He had nothing to do with that. You obviousy have no life & are a pretty f*cked up person to posting stuff like this on an innocent person. You should know you facts before you try to throw misinformation like that on a board. Some people are seriously just cold hearted & bitter. Move the f*ck on! What happened is what happened, but slandering someone who I know for sure was innocent, is a bunch of bs. Get a freaking life!

Funny, awhile ago everyone was so innocent and it was just a few "bitter and cold" people making stuff up. Singing a different tune now? Probably a few are innocent but a majority were involved. Don't kid yourself.

You don't know if he/she was clean or not? You just assume because they didn't bother you made them a great manager or rep. Everyone thought MZ was on the up and up since he didn't get pinched right away, but he got pinched. who is the whistleblower? Maybe your so called golden child was the whistleblower!!

There were several whistleblowers in something this big (hundreds of doctors involved and their offices*). I'm sure the few indicted awhile back cut deals for less prison time if they implicated their friends.

They also said that these cheaters actions didn't mean anything to other non-cheaters checks. Right? Numerous employees at your company bribed doctors to order your test, hugely inflating their results...and you didn't ask for too much growth from people who didn't cheat?

All people in leadership at this company who were here during this time should be ashamed of themselves. Even if you weren't cheating you knew in your heart something wasn't right. People in training witnessed reps eluding to illegal activity, not approaching this stuff but illegal none the less, and did nothing. In fact, they defended some of the actions as if there was nothing wrong with them. Managers were told about these activities and did nothing except act as if nothing were really wrong.

Make no mistake, this is serious stuff and was rampant at this company. ThermoFisher owes former and current employees an apology for this pathetic excuse of an organization and what it did to their lives and families. People who couldn't produce results like these low life wanna be Mafia members were fired and that leaves a lasting impact on their careers and lives.

Here's the upside, you can get hired elsewhere, those in Orange are SCREWED for life. BIGGIE was right, Mo Money Mo Problems ;)

Unfortunately, there is no legal recourse for you. Of course, they all knew. I love in training how they tell everyone "we don't follow all those strict pharma code guidelines" and set the stage for cheating. I got out awhile ago, and found a position that I love with no more jerk boss. The rest of the world does not operate like TFS.

Why blame TFS? thermo acquired Phadia and their senior management clearly didn't know about the fraud. You paint a board picture that strongly suggests everyone knew about the actions of a specific group. Cut the B.S. and stop blaming innocent victims.

I don't think anyone is blaming TFS. This isn't really part of TFS to begin with. It's a wart they were swindled into purchasing which has put them at risk of potential fines which will not be small. I think people are referring to leadership and training within Phadia because let's be honest that's really what this still is, or at least was at the time all this was happening.

I agree. All leaders and trainers from that era are gone. let's move on..

Move on?

Nice corporate mentality.

How do so many people associated with one company go to JAIL for healthcare fraud, and the owner of that company, new or old, has no accountability?
