Sold his private company to ONTY for $27M. Selling it now leaves it untainted by his past deeds...Is the law closing in?

It appears the Silverberg Lawsuit and the other derivative actions have been settled:

"After a formal mediation and further post-mediation negotiations, the parties to the various derivative actions reached a tentative settlement of the actions, the terms of which are set out in a Memorandum of Understanding dated as of July 18, 2014. The settlement is subject to final documentation and court approval. We cannot predict whether the process of full settlement documentation and court approval will be successful. In any event, the purported derivative lawsuits do not seek relief against the Company although the Company has certain indemnification obligations, including obligations to advance legal expense to the named defendants for defense of these lawsuits."

The proceeds are supposed to go back to Dendreon.

Yeah, Dendreon paid a small settlement to make the ambulance chasers go away. All the malicious posts about supposed lawsuits will now just fade to oblivion, just like the author.

As of today, no lawsuits are pending against Dendreon.

Thompson, just like Marie Huber, you continue to intentionally misinform for your own personal monetary agenda. We can only hope you will be like her and not get away with it.

1.Dendreon did not pay any settlement. This was a derivative lawsuit. Dendreon was not the defendant. The defendants will be paying the settlement.

2.There are still pending lawsuits against the company in which the company is a defendant. According to yesterdays 10Q, Christoph Bolling, et al. v. Dendreon Corporation, et al., Case No. 2:13-cv-0872 JLR in which the company is being sued under Washington State law for fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation is currently in the discovery phase.
