First let me say that all of your posts here are very enjoyable and insightful. We all love to read the ones detailing how terrible your management is and how your company cheats you and pays next to nothing. But my personal favorite is the "Life without United" thread, where you all cry about the prospect of losing one billable party years in advance. Our superior leadership team will likely make this happen but guess what? We could not care less. We, unlike you, are sales professionals that bring in all the other work that isn't already locked up in our favor. All while you have a public cry here about your sorry lot in life. Hope this helps.

We all know from your same ol same ol posts you are not in the industry. Get a life. Until you work for small lab you won't realize real commissions and you have no idea what it is like to actually use your talent to sell.
Wow, we all knew that Labcorp employees were dim, but assumed they could construct a simple sentence.
I see the Labcorp rep in my territory with some regularity. He is a pudgy guy who is always sitting in his little car outside of medical arts buildings and he always has his head facing low with a defeated look on his face. None of the women in the offices like him and several commented that he makes them feel uncomfortable. I'm sure not every Labcorp rep is like this but I bet most are.
The Labcorp rep in my territory is a woman who is either bipolar, on recreational drugs or both. The last time I saw her it was also at a large medical arts building, inside the lobby and she was screaming at someone on her cell phone about her payroll being short because of some deduction. She dresses inappropriately and when I am in the elevator with her she smells strongly like cigarettes.
That's really funny, because it is so true. I don't know what rock they find these people under. I guess no one else will work for them. I saw a Labcorp rep in my clients office. He was talking to the front office staff. His eyes were bloodshot, he was sweating badly and his hands had an obvious tremor. All I kept thinking is my god man, take a sick day. But I guess he is like that all the time, at least before noon.
These stories are funny, but I can top that and I have never even seen this guy from Labcorp. But one of my clients will never forget him. This guy is universally disliked and the way they tell it is that he is a very overbearing guy that fashions himself as a great chef. Unfortunately, he apparently also has some hygiene issues.So on cinco de mayo this year he made up containers of his own special salsa and cheese dip with chips for the offices. My client reluctantly accepted it and politely said they would try it later. That was a big no for him and he insisted they all try it while he was there. Not wanting to be rude many of them did. Big mistake. Everyone that did became violently ill. One of the girls vomited with such force that the blood vessels broke in her eyes and she had 2 black eyes fore more than a week. I won't be losing business to Labcorp from that account anytime soon. Honestly, were do they get these people.
Does Labcorp hold an annual NSM? Can you imagine what a freak show that would look like

I think getting bent over the proverbial lab bench by the competition on the coast you always boast you "own" is the best circus we've seen in a while.
Gotta go!! Another Quest client calling saying they're switching so they can get back to practicing medicine instead of fielding patient complaints of your phlebotomists asking if they want their specimens sent in paper or plastic......or did they bring their own bags! Hahaha
