I have never posted there and never will, but in reference to your post there DNDN does NOT have to disclose investigations.
I think they will be disclosing because of what I said in another post. If they don't disclose and there are investigations going on and the stock tanks as a result of what these investigations uncover then they set themselves up for even more legal liability than the billions they already have.
My hypothesis was that the new CEO wants no part of that. I thought that maybe he is being ultraconservative and didnt even want to have a conference before disclosing this info. He cancelled that conference and then move up earnings to a day before 2 other conferences. Earnings was initially set for the 29th.
I could be wrong. There may not even be investigations. Maybe the government is letting them get away with this. I just wanted to clarify that they do not have to legally disclose. It would be the prudent thing to do if in fact the employees on this board are telling the truth that investigations are taking place.
