LOL. The most overpaid job in healthcare and for that matter in any job is a spine stim sales rep. The pay at the absolute top end should be $200k-$225K. It's the biggest sales scandal of any job in America. For those who have been fortunate enough to take advantage of the opportunity; I say congratulations and count your blessings every waking moment. I'm sure many people will feel bad for all those reps who made $300k in2011 working effortlessly to have to make $250k next yr. Count your blessing or try and find another job that pays that much money for working 6 hrs a day.

What a stupid comment and probably from somebody who never sold anything. Reps are paid straight commission. The more they sell, the more they make. A company should hope that all their reps make that much because that would mean their sales are very high and the company is doing very well. It's not like they are paying EBI or DJ commissions of 18-30percent. It's more like 10 or 11 and likely going way down.

R u serious. if you can justify selling BGS and making more money than the President of the USA and more money that a lot of physicians.......you are full of yourself. you work maybe 6 hrs a day and sell something that is only worn for 3 months max and is questionable as to it even working. Is that why the growth ratew for OFIX on BGS is a negitive 10%. Count your blessings and make it while you can.....

Wow! great logical argument. So, athletes who throw a rubber ball through a net shouldnt make more than the president..or maybe someone who can throw a pigskin should not dare make as make as much as a president. or a physician. Bottom line is they make money for their organization.. Pretty simple for medical sales . company says I am not gonna pay you a salary, but i will pay you 10 percent of what you sell..good luck. Rep sells 3 million and makes 300k, company should be very happy..and rep should be very happy. FYI, I used to be a sales manager..never cared or asked about how many hours reps worked as long as they hit numbers, 6 or 60 hours.. i didnt care

you might be able to justify it to yourself that a BGS rep making $300, $400, $500k is justified but if you look yourself in the mirror you know dam well your full of shit. With that said make it while you can.....Oh, and yes I think what athletes make is flippin ridiculous beyond belief and so do you. With that said this is not about the reality of what BGS reps make it's about how little they work and the stupid money they make. The product they sell and the little work that is required. Be grateful that you have been so fortunate that it has not been figured out. So, take full advantage while you can because you will never find another job working so little and being so grossly over paid for selling something that is $2,000 over priced and is questionable if it even works. I think negative 10% growth says it all. Make it while you can.....
