Merial Exclusive for 2010...word is NO!

Word on the street is Merial has decided to not sign any distribution to an exclusive contract for 2010, and will announce it's decision to either go open distribution or all direct at the first of the year. Is anyone hearing different, and what will that mean for our flea & tick./ heartworm preventative revenues if true?

Haha. That's one way to put it, another way would be that no distributor wants to carry Merial exclusive anymore!! They all turned them down.

Of course Merial is open to all distributors...they need to get as much business that they can & any way they can: vets, all distributors, retail outlets & online. Why any of us would continue to sell their crap is beyond me! I'm either gonna lose Frontline sales to other distributors, online sites, or huge retail stores. Why bother?
