Thanks a lot for screwing things up!! Syncplicity was not installed in many of our computers. We lost everything!

Oh and thanks for wiping out my IPAD! You made me change my password three times in two weeks! How could someone remember that long ass password!

FU CLARK!!

I hear some folks wont get their laptops back for another week, that will be 3 weeks total with no IT.

Funny thing is most of the world patched for this months ago when the WannaCry virus was in the news.

Wanna bet our CIO and CISO don't get any backlash for this?

Merck IT Outsourced to Eastern Europe to save a buck, word is its going to take 3/6 months to get everything up & running as it was prior to meltdown, No Production , NO Labs working , workers told to show up for one hr day and they will be paid. LOL

Many companies (not just Merck) outsource to India, Philippines, etc. where they speak English and can save millions as those workers are much cheaper. Business is a profit enterprise and not a charity.

Looks like 3 to 6 months to be back to pre hack day , still dead in water , Credit Union branches down, no suppliers being paid for past invoices, Production world wide down, research labs down, employees being told to come in for one hour a day to be credited for pay ......sure saved a buck....LOL

not everyone is back up and getting email on laptops and having all the connectivity they had before the hack. Regardless, this was 100% self inflicted. Someone made a dumb ass decision to save a buck by running outdated software that was clearly at risk. This mistake had to have cost the company 10 times what they saved. But sure as shit you won't hear a peep of "we fucked up on this one folks" which frankly is no secret at this point and might go a long way to saving some face since we all know what happened and why it happened. JC package can't come soon enough....

how many more days will we have to use webmail instead of outlook? Fire all the big shots in IT. Clearly they know nothing. Webmail is like when you get a few emails here and there... this better not be a permanent solution
