Frazier sees his unrestrained drug pricing gravy train coming to a halt, and seeks to smear Trump to blunt the effect. Merck stockholders need to hold him responsible for using a young womans death as a means to further his political ideology and business greed. The Under Armour CEO leaving the council was because of pressure from the libs. He endorsed Trump back in February as an asset to the country, then he took heat from Dwayne The Rock Johnson and other liberals. He was lucky to keep his job because the tolerant, accepting of different ideas lefties, are the most intolerant people in the world. I love how Kenny had his team send out an in sync email to inform us stupid employees that the reaction to his tantrum has been generally positive in the liberal media. Wow! Are you serious? If it is generally positive it is not good for pharma business. Not good to go toe to toe with the institution that regulates our industry. Not a smart business move. The media likes it because it gives them a story. The story will get old and so will our pipeline.
Does anyone else think Merck and Ken's decision to implement "net sales mindset" to the sales force a few years back was wrong-- and maybe a bit racist?? All I know is that under that genius idea-- where a script written say for a diabetic African American female at an inner city public health clinic was only worth to the sales rep maybe 10 percent the sales credit for the exact same script prescribed across town to the commercially insuranced well- heeled female living in gated suburbia... Coupled with "assymetrical deployment" where Ken and management then stopped having Merck reps provide resources to inner city clinics and doctors-- or even sell to them. It wasn't worth holy Merck's time to go for the scripts in these heavily minority and less wealthy urban areas. Ask any Merckie rep in a big city. better yet-- ask any doctor who serves a high Medicaid population. They haven't seen a Merck tablet rep in years. guess Ken didn't see fit to allocate resources for the Medicaid patients... its is wrong to judge people by their income or their need for Medicaid, Ken. These patients deserve respect and the same attention. Ken is a hypocrite of the worst kind...

Maybe Ken should go visit some of these 'urine smelling ' clinics with his freed up time with a copy of George Merck's oft quoted comment about medicine being for the people....Gee, maybe if his company would return to that principle of putting PATIENTS FIRST (including poor black, brown or white patients), REAL profits (and greatness) just might return to Merck (I won't hold my breathe)
