Meetings - Tons and tons of meetings

So has anyone else noticed the sharp increase in the number of meetings taking place recently. For the past two weeks it seems as though there have been meetings stacked on top of meetings and the level of urgency has seemed to increase as well. Generally the meetings are among individuals in the higher income levels and fancy titles...and i'm just curious if others are seeing this as well or if they have any idea what is going on in these meetings.

people are being fired to have the books look better for the IPO. its going on around the country now. terminations without cause. no justification. even performers. no write ups just terminations. is the company looking for bad press before the IPO they are looking for trouble.,

Are they the quiet layoffs? It can be done. A few a week and no one will notice.

In 5 years B+L/WP has not laid off mid-management. The same group that was their 5 years ago is still there today. A focused layoff will likely occur in this area if there are large blocks of people let go.

There are quiet layoffs happening to reps that have done well. no cause. no justification. all of sudden.

Who's being let go? Nobody in my district

This thread is all B.S. Probably being started by someone who was let go last year during the integration and still doesn't have a job. If anyone were laid off, quietly or otherwise, you would hear about it.

Now get back to work (or finding a new job).
