Medtronic RIF

Medtronic has started the dreaded RIF in my OU. Rumors abound of widening and ongoing cuts to headcount throughout multiple OU’s. Have seen several high contributing and very talented folks get axed. Seems like MDT is cutting off the legs of the company and asking us to then run marathons.

Anyone have insight into the RIF and people impacted?

Which OU are you in? Haven’t heard much about cardiac yet.

which OU and which functions have been affected so far? more detail would help please otherwise not sure the purpose of this post considering its a company of 100,000 and your post ia vague as hell

Rather than focusing on OUs, which seem to all be running on different schedules, ask yourself this: "do I work at Medtronic?" If you answered "yes" to that question, you may be a part of the estimated 10% who will be let go.

100% of the 10% are rejoicing to leave this shithole and get a severance on the way out.
