I've been with Medline for 5 years in a middle management position. My pay and yearly increase has been favorable and competitive. However, I don't agree with the many new policies that have been put in place. The "point" system for my hourly employees is straight from the 3rd Reich. I had to fire a single mother because her son had cancer and she had called in sick too many times. Mind you, she had plenty of sick leave to use. But that's not the way Medline operates. I feel Medline has slowly been changing into a company I would not recommend working for. I gave my two week notice and will be leaving the company soon. My exit interview will be pointless I'm afraid. For everything I have said here will go to a mute ear upon my exit interview. I am very sickened and trouble by this incident and stressed my concern to my superiors. Nothing ever came of it.

I really hope my employee wins a huge lawsuit against Medline, because that's the only they'll get a clue! At least one would hope.

Good luck and Godspeed.
