Medicine co spamming cubist board

It is pretty clear that a lot of the nonsense being posted here on the Cubist board are from medicines company representatives. Speculation about takeovers, counteroffers, and other nonsense are being posted by representatives from this desperate company. Using money as their only leverage point is like the sales representative who uses price as their only selling point. They got nothing else and it's cleared everybody looking. If you really want the straight scoop on the values of this company that is the medicine company search out prior sales representatives who were let go in there last downsizing. Shame on you if you're sold by the slick Willy tactics of this organization.

Look to leadership and the objectivity of the market to know there is nothing here. To be posting comments and acting like they are from Cubist CBMs? Really! What about the values at Cubist??? This once beloved company has done a compelte 180 and pissed in the face of the reps that built it!!!! Every month brings some new dumbshit process and less bonus money. They're fucking us hard!!! What does that say about the vaues at Cubist??? I think it pretty much says "thanks for putting us on the map with dapto, but we don't need you anymore so go suck a dick" We'll hire some second rate douches to take over form here... This company has done nothing to retain its talent!!!! NOTHING!!!!

Maybe we don't have to be as vulgar, but there really is a certain sense of anger. this person is correct in stating what is obvious to most. A very small team of sales people took this drug from 0 and took it to over 1 billion dollars!! what an amazing feat, and i applaud us all. Then things really started changing, we stopped being appreciated for all of our efforts and started to get slammed by the Karens, for nonsense. They took our options, they took our gym memberships, they gave us more processes. They gave us more products, with the same terrible marketing people and all for less bonus money. BS raises. More and more nonsense at meetings, Rob, called what we were trying to do an "experiment", well looks like it may start blowing up in your face. the reality is that if you don't value your people, someone else will. This isn't some MDCO rep here either, i have been a CBM for years and have done very well, but when i see BS, i have to call it out. Thats all, no bashing of people, just the truth.

Good point, one has to wonder why there are only about 5 or 6 CBMs still here from the original 75 and none of the original RBDs left from those that started Cubist. In these past 11 years Cubist has been incredibly successful and the stock price has gone up 6-fold. Why did so many leave amidst all of this success? It's not because they became so wealthy that they retired, it's because of the disconnect between the growth in the stock price and the growth in earnings for the field.. Combine this with the removal of the stock options and a stagnant or even declining bonus and you have the recipe for a bitter and resentful sales force. The bonus has been $40,000 since the beginning and not moved at all, in the meantime the earnings and stock price have moved up exponentially.

There is a special feeling about having a sense of ownership in the company and it's well being. When you take that away, you don't have business owners, you have employees.

Yes, we get it.....the company has gotten much larger and there is no longer enough stock to go around beyond the executive level. If that is the case, then Cubist should not ostracize or consider those that leave as disloyal or traitors. Again, I get it.... this smacks of entitlement and so be it. As much as the field needs to understand that removing the options is a business decision, Cubist needs to understand that employees leaving to take a chance on being able to participate at a higher level in a company's success is a business decision as well. Our ultimate loyalties are to ourselves and our families.

I was one of those that helped launch Cubicin from the beginning, I have also been it's greatest advocate over the years. I have referred employees into Cubist as well as put my heart and soul into this job. I loved the product, I loved the culture, I loved Cubist, and I cried when Frank Tally died. I have now reached a crossroads where I feel that Cubist has failed me and I struggle to fight off the negativity breeding inside of me each day. I don't want to leave, but I don't see a clear path forward for me to reach my earning potential here at Cubist. Soon, it will be time for change for me however I'll continue to keep a close watch on Cubist from a distance with the hopes that Cubist will return to it's glory days.
