Can anyone tell me what the medical benefits are like? Approximately how much do you pay out of pockets for family healthcare coverage?

I saw it early on in the process. I want to say it was around $600 for a family on the best plan. It was Aetna and a really good plan. I had something similar at another Pharma job and it was great insurance.

Medical for family runs about $500 and is decent. The dental is crap

dental i think is metlife and vision is through aetna.

Correct on dental. Can't remember what it was on vision, bc I wont need it. I understand the Aetna health plans are pretty good.

Thank you for confirming VSP! I assumed it was either VSP or EyeMed since those two are the dominant players in Vision insurance, currently. And, you don't need a card or account number - your provider can look you up in the system via your social security number once your benefit takes effect.

You will get an onboarding package shortly after you sign your offer. It will include all benefits along with the price per pay check. You can elect benefits on your start day through ADP.

You have got to be kidding me! $500/ month for the premium for medical only! I paid $160/month with my last pharma company and that was for me and my spouse! What are dental premiums per month?

500 a month for FAMILY. You and your spouse would be less than that. Dental is cheap. Like 30 a check or something.

How much are the premiums with employee plus one? $30/pay period seems pretty high for dental. That’s over $60/month just for premium!

Yes I have Aetna for family, PPO & Dental & vision with the upgrades. Closer to $700 a month. That is reality in this day & age if you want good coverage with lower deductibles & prescription coverage. If you take the lesser plans you will pay high deductibles.

Do you have an opportunity to have an HSA and does Amarin contribute to it? My old pharma company did contribuye to an HSA.

I hope to receive an offer soon. I am also interviewing with other pharmaceutical companies. What is the cost of medical insurance premium if I would be covering myself plus my wife? I would like to have an HSA Account so that may make a difference in what plan I choose. Thanks.
