Vivus just got their weight loss drug approved,the second new one approved recently.This marks one more category where,if it EVER comes out,Takeda will AGAIN be TOO LATE to market! Relax my friend. First off, we will never get our weight loss drug approved. I think we all know that and if we do, it will be two years away. Secondly, relax about the $50 million we spent on it. Hell, our executive management team wipes thier asses with $1 million dollar bills. This company doesn't care about foolishly wasting money. Look at all the marketing managers they have on staff and pay big bucks to. We have close to 1,800 reps all making big base salaries (much higher than industry average) and in a few weeks we'll only have a total gross product portfolio of about $1.4 billion in sales annually. Net on that is significantly lower due to the deep discounts we have to give to get Dexilant and Uloric utilization. Most other co's with our gross and net sales only have 500 to 900 reps at most in the field. This company must have tons and tons of money because we spend it so foolishly.

So just relax and enjoy the ride.
