McCartney wins Grammy for 'Helter Skelter'

I love McCartney's music too although I think his best years were with John Lennon. THeir music was amazing and timeless.

I agree - John and Paul where the greatest song writing team ever and their music sounds as fresh today as when it was recorded. Paul's post Beatle music had ups and downs as did John's. I think that overall George put out the best post Beatle material . . . 'All Things Must Pass' is the strongest recording any of the Beatles did as solo artists.

Damn, in this new era of civility, I cannot believe that I have found another thing that BN and I wholeheartedly agree on. George was the man! "All Things Must Pass" was far and away the best Beatles solo album. Also, "Sue Me, Sue You Blues" from "Living In the Material World" was pure genius as a parody of all of the Beatles legal issues post break-up.

'The Concert For Bangladesh' is another classic from George - You can hear and feel the excitement of the crowd when Ringo joins him onstage for 'It Don't Come Easy'

George stayed the most true to the Beatle sound with his solo work.
