MCC Transition rumors

Re: MCC Transition facts

Well, so far the year-end shutdown has been cancelled, so theres 4 days more you have to work this year as opposed to being a Merck site.

Bayer has no pension plan, so compensation reduction there.

The fine folks at Bain Consulting are on board to help advise the transition and integration of these 2 great organizations.

And day 1 there will be shiny new building signs to greet you!

No, Florida Evans is not there come day 1. Much like season 4 of good times. Look for her to make a guest appearance later in the season.

She off to do for some other company what she did for MCC - turn a 2.0 billion dollar division into a 2.1 billion dollar division.

Aint we lucky we got 'em,
Good Tiiiiimmmesss! Yeaaaaahhhh.

No. She turned a $5 billion company into a $14 billion company.
Her and the leadership team made this happen.

Nope. 2 billion in sales before and after. She never moved that needle one bit.

14 billion reflects the brand equity that was in the portfolio long before she came on board. Only thing BH brought on was Oxytrol - MAYBE that will be 100 million in sales per year.

And the fact that Bayer WAY overpaid. There a lot of cheap money sloshing around for selloffs of this sort. Bayer got trumped by Reckitt in their last attempt at a bolt on acquisition, and didn't want it to happen again, regardless of the cost. Reckitt is laughing their arises off at the 14B price!
