Novartis has treated the PDI reps horribly since the very beginning. In one district, a PDI rep overheard their brand new DM say directly to the CV2 reps that the CV2 reps needed to "take a hold of" the PDI reps. He (the Novartis DM) went on to explain that since he had worked with all of the PDI reps, each and every one of them had NO selling skills whatsoever. The CV2 reps needed to train the PDI reps. The treatment from that same DM has remained the same. He has almost disdain for the PDI reps. In fact, recently, he even told 1 PDI rep that he knew the rep cared about their own career, but that he (the DM) really didn't care [about the PDI rep's career].
