Speaking as someone who is part of the Amgen sites that are being shut down in AWA and ACO, I can tell you they really don't care. The upper management is in full "synergy" mode, where synergy = (layoffs x empty buildings)^(Stock price increase). We thought we had a lot of valuable talent and experience too that they would want to try better at retaining.
Outside of a few key people that they might incentivize to some small degree, expect that most internal transfers will be lateral movements. If you leave, well whatever. There are plenty of available labor in the big hubs of wherever that they can replace people relatively easy. (Or so the thinking goes)
The good news is that the severance is decent, or at least it was for us: 6 month base + 1 wk per year. Prorated bonuses.
As one of the non hateful Amgen employees that post here, I say good luck. The last few years haven't really been a treat for any of us...
