March 28 Start Date

Did anyone who received an offer get a start date other than 3/28?

Have you been able to confirm yet whether that's the home study date or Indy training date?

Congratulations on the beginning of the end of your life as you know it. Backstabbing will start. Stress and panic will set in. Depression will deepen. You will start taking Cymbalta as all of the other Lilly employees do since it is free for now. Then Divorce. Then distancing yourself from friends and family. No life. The then end of your FDE 2 years hits. You are addicted to the free Lilly drugs and have to start paying for them or go through a painful process of easing off of them.

Congratulations again...

Please make a note of the proper medical process for Cymbalta withdrawl. To wean yourself without risk of suicide, count the number of pellets in a capsule. Then reduce the number of pellets per capsule one per day until no pellets remain.

You can thank me later.

There is life after Lilly, but not after Cymbalta.

It's lovely that some of you feel that you need to warn us of the perils of working in this field or with Lilly; however, there are a few of us at least who are walking into this with our eyes wide open. We've all heard the horrors before and know exactly what we're in for. Did you ever think that there are reasons of our own that make this the right choice for us at this time. Maybe it's not for you. Fine. Move on and I hope you find something that makes you happy. If you don't have anything constructive to say, then please go spew your acid somewhere else. Thanks and have a nice day.

Okay kid. On second though, I won't feel sorry for you. Bye.

Did you not pay attention during the "Welcome" session prior to the individual interviews? They went over this. They gave the dates of home study and the dates of training in Indy. If you recieved an offer it was also, the start date anyways, included.
When you pay attention to things, you stress level will be significantly lower!

Gosh Ms/Mr Manners...could you give me pleasantry lessons?

Not every session everywhere was just like the one in your little world. These questions were asked. They either weren't certain of the answers, the answers varied depending on region, or they weren't authorized to give the answer at that time. Or perhaps it's that I was incompetent and just couldn't elicit the correct answer as well as you did.

Oh, wait a minute, I accepted a job offer from them recently. Guess that wasn't it after all.

It was a simple question. There is no stress involved in it. Sounds like you're projecting.

And then won't have to ask stupid questions and expose an ADD condition or a lack of intelligence.

It comes from first hand experience from many of the thousands of people who have already. No longer at Lilly. Life does get better but it takes a few years. And it isn't acid. It is simply the facts.

Already moved on. Interesting how you are such an expert on something that you have yet to experience. 45,000 people, especially all of us that already left but have our life savings in stock and those being systematically attacked and destroyed have the years of experience and REALLY KNOW what it has been like. Lilly used to be a great place to work over a decade ago. In the past 10 years a lot has changed for the worse. Can you say Enron?

So, those of little experience should not dismiss those with the experience. That know it all attitude shows your youth and lack of respect for those who have knowledge and this will be your downfall.

Lilly is like the middle east. You can mindlessly join the evil dictators who have repressed the people and taken the riches resulting from the decades of efforts of the people or you can be a part of the efforts to reform the corrupt leadership that continues to use cash reserves to provide a false impression of success, retain power and buy their way out of jail (can you spell CIA). It has only gotten worse over time and will continue to get worse until true good change occurs.
