Many More Layoffs to come in September

Some of these posts really cause one to stop and take a pause! A good friend of mine is interviewing for a spot in the Energy division....should I tell him to just walk away? I'll certainly urge him to read the board before jumping in, and I know he's speaking with a few internal reps for insight...however, you just can't ignore what some of these existing/former reps say about the vision/direction of the company...

I think Energy is gonna be okay. There have already been several open positions that were eliminated, so they wouldn't be conducting interviews if it was on the choping block. Covidien is a huge company. There is definitely some fat to trim, but I don't think it's in Energy.
 






Couldnt be energy because you guys are so knowledgeable and well connected. Also you guys own the energy market because of the a fore mentioned skill sets. Youre endo counter parts could learn so much from you guys with your clinical and procedural knowledge!

It's in progress. They are doing the usual Covidien thing finding excuses to screw people who are honest and ethical, unlike this Company...
 






























I heard the combined bag rep left the central Ohio territory that included OSU. Is this position still open? Why did he leave? Was he ran off because of his tenure or was he a casualty of layoffs?

He left because Covidien fucked him in his previous position and he didn't trust that they would ever do the right thing by him. He fucked them before they could get another chance.
