not to mention smoking and drinking - it’s our job to stop cancer, diabetes, and heart disease, that have killed millions!

Will Gilead employees still be allowed to consume alcohol at company functions? Liver disease can have serious consequences. Riddle me this Danny O’Day, will you be randomly drug testing employees for cocaine, marijuana, meth, etc? I mean, where does your love for your employees end?

I know many people that would love this job so if you don't want it bc you've got to get a vaccine then move on.
 






Looking forward to abortion being outlawed cause the “right to choose” seems to not apply anymore.

Sure it’s a satire, yet I struggle to understand how this is a path towards something positive.

We’ve discussed in the past how insurance companies shouldn’t dictate medicine. But it’s suddenly ok that an employer can mandate medicine? Seems reasonable.

I know of at least 1/2 a dozen employees doing this. I bet it’s in the hundreds.

I will do it, and then go to a live meeting and refuse to wear a mask (thanks Biden). I will start coughing around all the masked, and watch them scatter to cower in their rooms.

Sure giving up rights is a slippery slope. It’s just amazing how many morons work at Gilead. You’re all in infectious disease last I checked and don’t believe in a vax? You do realize healthcare workers like nurses at hospitals have work mandates for annual flu vaccine.

I don’t agree with a mandate but there is zero harm in doing so. It’s a corporate flex and no ones surprised.

The company is well within its rights to mandate this vaccine. Unvaccinated people are fueling the delta variant surge. Move on if your “freedom” is so valuable to you.

Not true at all. The CDC has said repeatedly in the last 2-3 weeks that new data shows the vaccinated are contracting, carrying and spreading Covid at the same rate as the unvaccinated. The CDC has now pivoted over to saying the Vaccine is an effective tool to lower the chance of hospitalizations, and that’s it. And you’re going to need a 6 month booster soon because they’re not lasting more than a few months.

You’re a bit stuck on the May/June 2021 talking points, and not up to speed with what’s been going on the last 3-4 weeks.
 






Boosters will be part of the mandate if the CDC recommends it. You might be considered vaccinated now, but unless you take boosters as they come due, you will be fired.

Can you imagine taking this every 6-8 months or maybe sooner? Is this job really worth it?

It is to me - I’ll just add fake booster shots to my card containing fake original shots
 






If you fake a vaccine passport you are part of the problem. This doesn’t stop until we stand up. Why don’t you go look for your testicles and fight for your country!
