Mandated lunch delivery services

This is ridiculous! I have used both Uber Eats and Doordash as recommended and it was a joke. I have used a local caterer for years with excellent service and meals! And now Abbvie is so paranoid there may be rewards so we have to use unreliable delivery?

Come on Abbvie, NO other pharma company has mandated inferior delivery services! Give us a break here, don't make our job more difficult!

welcome to the new normal

I work in neuro and don’t know what you are referring to? I use DoorDash, EZ Cater, Panera, and others. What mandates are you talking about?

We are to use DoorDash or Uber Eats. Corporate is concerned we are collecting rewards/points for other options. Hey corporate...... better not be getting Starbux/Panerai points if you provide food for meetings, or if you meet a manager for coffee the manager better not collect points!

Yes, that's what they sit around and think about at HQ! I will continue to use my local caterer since DoorDash and Uber Eats have been hour or so late.

Tell you what, management... you stop collecting Mariott/Hilton points first and we'll go from there.

1. Travel asks us for our airline frequent flyer numbers as well as our hotel frequent user numbers. What’s the difference with these and getting rewards from caterers?

2. all of these are essentially quantity discounts. Not to be confused with the quantity discounts when we book 500 rooms at a hotel for a large meeting.

3. real leadership would know this.

No kidding! And stay at a Motel 6, an inferior hotel.

So far I've had the worst service from Doordash and Uber Eats! But we can't collect points so who cares about the quality provided right? It's absurd.

It's like the old Abbott OEC days, looking for people to fire.

Whoa tough guy/gal, You’re in no position to make any demands. I’ll tell YOU what….Keep giving free product away while claiming you’re actually in sales. Kiss the hungry RNs boots for a 2 minute face to face or a sig, and shuffle in that food order. Y’all’s paid delivery folks like UPS,

Get off your high-horse, pal. You sounds like a f*cking loser.
