Managers: how to double dip

I am a salesman with a nice device company right now. I'm on autopilot with my territory.

I want to apply for a managerial position here and double dip. I know guys do it. I'm looking for tips on how to approach the application.

My assumption is that I leave off my current employer so they can't back track to find me there and make up a reason I have a gap in my resume. Any other ideas.

Take yourself off of Linked In...or leave a space there as well. You may also want to reach out to a couple of managers that were let go for getting caught doing the same thing and blow the ones that keep their jobs
Hope that helps!

It can be done. My old Publiciss manager, and close personal friend, did it for his 2 year contract back in 2012. If you read a lot of boards here like I do you can see that the OP here placed the same thread on the Inventiv board and its getting people riled up.
