Yes that program through corporate is a waste of time. It is the same old program called Managing at Merck however it is even longer! The only one who wins is the same old group of consultants who ran the old dog of a program used the same old content and made it longer and changed the name. Now that is job security!

Most DMs I have seen do not have local territories yet. Most are still waiting them to open.

No logic in offering talent an impossible to travel to district. Makes life difficult to impossible .....Many would pass if the economy was good.

I did not say it is a good policy or a ridiculous policy. This was as explained to me by a director a few years ago. The bottom line is probably to have all the managers in the same area so a director can fly in and hold a meeting. We can argue if the managers are that great or not.

This is a program that is through corporate and it sucks. The program is the same one they had years ago call managing @ merck which sucked as well And now the same old program has now been make longer and the pnly one making a lot of money from this program is the same old vendor with the same old material who just changed the name of the program and made it longer!!!!
