Manager ignoring the risk of Covid

Now that AZ is allowing vaccinated people to go without masks, our manager wants to get everyone together. With half the country unvaccinated, how can this be a good idea?

I actually don’t do that—i get my groceries delivered and haven’t been inside in a closed room with anyone since the pandemic. So, I’d rather avoid people. Let’s have a meeting outside under a shade tree 10 feet apart and I’ll be cool with that.
 




Probably should get a new job working exclusively from your padlocked basement. We will come by every 5 years to see if you are ok. Make sure you tape up all the windows. Good luck.
 








There’s a big difference between June of 2021 and June if 2020. We should definitely be back out there catering lunches and pretending that equates to selling something. The other COVID thread brings up a serious issue, and that’s how AZ leadership behaved 1 year ago when little was known and there weren't any vaccines. I’m sure they’ll sweep what we saw on the video link under the rug, but that behavior was truly outrageous!!!!

‘Exactly the way we should be thinking! Now we have the super deadly variant to contend with! It’s more dangerous now than a year ago! Time to lock down again, and oh by the way AZ, keep those checks a comin’ !

It is way more dangerous now. There is a more deadly variant lurking and now there are a bunch of unvaccinated people not wearing masks.
 
















If this isn't a joke, the OP is either massively brainwashed or a total pussy. You seriously are afraid of a social gathering STILL? If that's the case then you better be locked up in your house and not leaving or you're just using this as an excuse. And if you're that afraid of covid, still, I really can't believe we hire people this stupid

Things are more dangerous now than ever. A more deadly virus on top of more people than ever who are not vaccinated are not wearing masks! You are the one that is being stupid. Unfortunately some innocent bystander will probably pay for your stupidity.

1. People should be out working. Many/most have been vaccinated (for what that’s worth) and we now know the virus isn’t that deadly. If you don’t want to work, sit at home and collect welfare.
2. B Gilot should have been fired a year ago when he put that video on Workplace. We did NOT know much about the virus at that time, and many people were very uncomfortable with his push. Things change over time.

It’s so funny that AZ pays big money to conduct the pulse survey and all they get is a bunch of bs for responses yet they get the truth on threads like this and they do nothing about it. Do you guys think that’s intentional? Maybe they actually believe their stupid survey scores.

610k dead Americans so far and it isn't that deadly? I don't support this idea that we should be staying at home now that we have vaccines but it is the selfishness and stupidity of people like you acting as if this is nothing more than the flu that have made this pandemic exponentially worse than it needed to be.

We can’t just shut the economy down forever, dipshit. That will be much worse than the virus. Still, Gilot should have been canned for being an unethical moron for that push to get people to do “whatever it takes” two months into this last year.
