Management is waking up to departures by reps/managers

exit interviews being noted by upper mg't. benefits stink here/ worst vacation in the industry. nobody is committed to Valeant because we are all just temp employees.

Yep, temp employees. Upper Mgmt does not give 2 $hi7s about any of its employees. They know good dang well why people are leaving and you sure don't see any changes. Will be interesting what BS they will shovel on us at the NSM? Just think right now our Mgrs are drinking the koolaid at their meeting. Going to be a long year!

Too true! This place is THE worst in the industry, not run as a pharma company but run as a M&A juggernaut! No commitment/ ethics / principles in this dump, it's a $$ cheque for everyone management will not & do not give a s#*+! Nothing changes here....

Great post. I've worked here for years and haven't updated my resume...until yesterday. I see my counterparts leaving for better jobs that are giving them much more satisfaction. This place is dead. Management sucks. I just can't believe no one at HQ isn't saying something. These OSM's are the worst group of management I've ever seen. I can only name a couple that care. The rest are just collecting a paycheck. This will truly be a great year for someone at B+L, just not me. My time going forward will be focused on getting a new job.

I write and delete my posts so often. It's cathartic. Most of the times, a bunch of morons are writing useless info. It's for me I guess.

Times are definitely tough. Day to day, it's as good and bad as a lot of places to work. There are many good OSRs and OSMs. Morale is very low due to upper mgt not giving a damn about what is going on outside of profit margins and #'s. They have lost sight of the people who drive the business every day. We are not people. We're an employee #. If this attitude doesn't change immediately, B&L will suffer incredible losses by continued OSR and customer exodus. Share will plummet. Goals will not be met. It's a fragile time for our products. Selling against Alcon and generic is serious business but there is no real plan in place for us to compete effectively.

Valeant's model is state of the art in terms of not giving a shit about people at all. The people who stay with Valeant for any length of time become/are monsters. They have no life but worrying about work. I don't think this can be sustained much longer.

It is so sad. There is no one listening, except for us powerless people, to do anything to create change - except to contemplate leaving.

Good post. I'm at that point of leaving and I've been here a while. Management is definitely the reason. If the focus wasn't always on the bottom line and instead on the customer thinks may be different. Also, the RD's at this company are so robotic. Really sad. Some used to be good at sales now they only try to keep their budgets in check. Sorry to say it but I'm probably gone. I'd like to go to Alcon and put the screws to B+L.

2 of 3 Area Directors of Pharma resigned yesterday. How much confidence does this give the field force? Or does anyone even care? System is broken and everyone is frustrated. May look good to Wall Street but the streets where the reps walk shows horrible morale, great frustration, and massive turnover. Anticipate more turnover before NSM.
