Managed services layoffs

Termination notifications will begin the week after Labor Day and continue on through the end of September.

I thought I had to wait till next year till the packages/offers start. Abbott/Abbvie have been on a downward spiral and hard to watch all the people you know over decades cast aside for some young know nothings from India.

Survived too many rounds and ready to move on. It is nice they are giving packages-instead of mass PIPs -like they did when the Shire deal fell through.

Well, it's a new year and some new packages are likely to be introduced. From here, we'll have to maintain a wait and see attitude. Rumblings are that there will be some activity in the next 3 to 8 weeks. Good or bad, I'm not sure. Stand by!!!

BUT THEY WORK HARDER, TAKE LESS BRAKES, HAVE ADVANCED DEGREES, ACCEPT LOWER SALARIES, AND NEVER TAKE SICK / PERSONAL TIME OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD FOR R O I

They accept low salary because they are on the chains with Indian company to just get green card. Moreover they know they dont have right skills , they come with exaggerated resumes full of lies, all of them take on the job training to do mediocre work, watch internet and ndtv on phone, there is no advanced degree, degree is not even comparable with US standards, just look at your post , you dont even know the meaning of words

All I can say is WOW. I’ts sad to read about this. Before you know it the US white-collar workforce will be hollowed out. This almost reminds me of what I read about when automotive jobs were moved offshore. Will it ever end?

Hay y’all, at this rate, there will now one left making a good salary to buy the products the company sells. This just seems very shortsighted. Short term profits at the kiss of long-term gain. It’s a very short sighted approach. It seems that we’re seeing the death of the “White Collar” workforce.

Company loyalith is no longer valued...

So Sad...

Your comments are all spot on. Plus, they rarely ever ask to work from home. It's nice having them in the office when needed. The American programmers & analysts ruined it for themselves, no one else to blame!
