Mallinckrodt: When a contract is not a contract

The Mallinckrodt contract has the potential to be one of the biggest debacles in the history of contract sales. If Xartemis is not approved by the FDA, all of the new hires that left their previous employers will be out of a job.

This could be the ultimate disregard for individuals welfare and financial security. How can a corporate entity hire a sales force before they know if their drug will even be approved? The greed of trying to maximize every day of the product patent life puts new hire job security at risk. Those directing the Mallinckrodt spinoff from Covidien are rolling the dice without regard for people's careers. This is a reckless way to run an overhauled company.

All new hires should be prepared to be kicked to the curb if the FDA does not approve Xartemis. This is a classic case of putting the cart before the horse. Ventiv is complicit in this fiasco.

If you were stupid enough to accept a position for a company without a approved drug and leave another position for it then you deserve the assfucking coming your way dummy. Please don't breed and pass on that dimwitted IQ. Hilarious!

Amen to that!! You negative Nellies go do something else for awhile. You sound like a broken record. Everybody poo-pooed Pennsaid and Exalgo when they were launched, and the people who work have done well with them. The deadbeats couldn't sell the next Viagra. It's all about attitude and self motivation. Get over yourselves already.

She was definitely on the way out. During the interview process she was completely out of her mind. I'm starting to think Ventiv is a lot like this...

Probably a good observation. Things have gone south very quickly. In the last 6 months the culture has definitely changed. If you need a job take this one,if offered, and keep looking. The market, at least in my area, seems to be opening up a bit with some new opportunities in the industry.

So what does everyone think of their mallinckrot teammates? Honestly, there's only 2 on my team and the rest are inventiv. They seem pretty normal.

Buddy, it's "Ventiv", but you're right. They seem pretty cool with us coming over. However, where the hell are the fine women?! I'm looking to score at the next natl meeting, but it looks like slim pickings.

All of the offers are going out there was a bunch that went out on Friday and I was wondering what the Salary Range was. I was offered high 70's and 28,000 bonus at goal which is uncapped. Is this what people are seeing regarding salary. My Ventiv Manager said that I was at the top of the Salary range. Please post people what you guys where offered and please no stupid salaries like 85-90 because that is not happening.
