Did you hear some of the language on the Town Hall meeting Friday? Trudeau said we have been predator. Could also be prey. You can bet that everything is for sale at some price. The XXR debacle would be just a blip on the screen for some buyer who sees the real value of MNK. Can you imagine how rich the officers and board at MNK would become? Why would they not want (and seek) a buyout?
 












Everyone works to reach a certain level of success, wealth. If you had worked your whole career to be able to be in their seat sell and walk away with millions wouldn't you? I would.

I think the gist of the beef is that upper mgmt is lining their pockets at the expense of those laboring at the lower echelons. They hire inexperienced marketing personnel that lack any experience launching a C2. Sales mgmt employs marketing tactics and direction that may have been in vogue 10 years ago with PC providers but are not in sync with calling on surgeons and their staff. So due to insufficient tools to do the job, the drones will get little to no bonus payout while those responsible for the debacle prepare to cash in with the impending sale of the company.

The handwriting is on the wall...legacy reps phased out and contract brought in (entitled to no severance when they pull the plug), legacy RMs and DMs bailing out, no corporate cards for contract reps, no fleet vehicles ordered, unattainable goals set to eliminate any ICP payout, MNK workers furloughed at manufacturing plants, training bonuses not paid. When the contract reps begin to leave after only a few months, well you get the idea.

Word on the street is that Mylan is buying Mallinkrodt. You better hope not because it is a downright abusive culture there. If you are complaining about not making bonus, add on to that the fact that they will berate you constantly in meetings, cursing at you and you have to eat it or get fired. They don't care about whether you sue them or not. They have been doing this for 50 years in West Virginia and India and it will be coming to you soon.

Bitch about it if you like, but looks like it's happening. Dow down 167 today. MNK up $3.00. Similar yesterday. Looks like someone is bidding up this stock big time. Sounds like an offer could be in the making.
