1-3% increases per year, the safety (an illusion) of tenure and potential (not guaranteed) severance when things turn versus a nice bump. IMO you need to consider several other factors.
Culture. Favoritism and DEI inspired promotions vs. merit at companies not virtue signaling how up in their feelings they are.
Culture. Too many reps taking too few access opportunities versus a smaller commercial team where you can be the one making an impact.
Culture. Disruption for no reason other than a new leader needing to show impact every time there is a new one. Roughly every 3-4 years at this place.
It isn’t always just about money. Make a decision with your eyes wide open to everything else that impacts your work quality of life.
