I hear there is in the works a major consolidation of office space here at Merck. It only stands to reason that it would happen, being that when Merck took over Schering it took over not only Schering's office space but also Organon's, which Schering took over about a year prior the the Merck takeover. Its just too much office space.
Does anybody know whether the Rahway Site, will be moved to Whitehouse Station, or are they waiting till after the new research project is finished in Kenilworth.
Also what about West Point? Any layoffs, or consolidation in that area?
