Luitpold Class Reunion

At the initial launch meeting at Ranger Bob's Flea Market and Roadside motel in Austin, Texas, one of the regional managers (AH) was trying to quell our dissatisfaction at only being allowed $8/per person at lunches.

He then proceeded to tell us that when he was a rep, he would never bring food, he would only bring a jar of peanut butter and spoons and everyone was unbelievably happy with him. He said that nurses would call each other throughout the hospital and come down and sample his peanut butter and he usually saw thousands of docs in an hour, as so many people wanted his peanut butter.

I thought he only said it to my group, but after talking to others, he apparently had created his own little shtick. Interestingly enough, every person I talked to thought it was just as ridiculous as I did. Thus we are making fun of his dumbass comments.

All true. So proud he even shared his "success" during one of his, ahem, "many" field visits.

Well if you lived in BFE Arkansas and survived on a diet of possum and catfish you'd probably welcome the delicacy of Jiff on a spoon.

What a lame story!
What nurse or Doc in their right mind would take peanut butter on a spoon instead of lunch.

Instead of lunch! Don't you mean who would eat peanut butter off 2 spoons at all! They are medical pros for heavens sake. Such a lame story.
But then they do eat road kill down south. Just kidding, just kidding.

My favorite memory from Luitpold!

Yeah, our guy (JH) also worked in the field a lot. I had the pleasure a few times. He was always cool, and I genuinely liked him, but it was stressful.
Mary Jane has to be the absolute worst CEO on the planet.
