The new norm is non specialty pharma has been re calibrated. The current total comp plans being offered here are mid to mid high for the industry now. Trust me...I know...I've been laid off three times in the last six years and I've steadily made less each year after 12 years of steady increases. The glory days are over but its still a fairly good gig if your boss is decent. If your boss is a jackass ( which most are now ) then its an every day micro slug fest that still beats roofing houses.
