what I don't like about takeda is the company has No fight in them!!! When competition ramps up, Takeda pulls back. Linzess comes and spends spends spends, and takeda pulls back spending on Amitiza. They let linzess (2nd to market) take the market. Now Trulance has entered the picture and they are spending spending and spending. Takeda is cutting back again and got rid of the speaker programs. Linzess is back defending their turf like they should spending and spending to hold off the new comer. Linzess speaker programs, commercials, lunch ins, etc. Takeda continues to pull back. Takeda subscribes to "if you can't handle the heat, get out of the kitchen". No Fight!!!! When I say this, I mean Takeda the company, not the reps. Reps are fighting their asses off trying to hold share. It's hard to maintain share after linzess and trulance just discussed with your big GI that their speaker program is 10/xx/17, 11/xx/17 and also 12/xx/2017....then Amitiza rep walks in, and we are hoping that the great relationship with the doctor can somehow equal the $3,000/event honorarium the competition is bringing. No Fight!!! Jeez I wish takeda management would read this, but they would probably just curl up in the fetal position and hide under their desks!!! Can I challenge Takeda Leadership anymore!???!
