Looking to enter the industry

Hi there! I am currently finishing my Bachelor's degree and have been trying to get jobs within the medical device/equipment industry. Any advice for companies to apply to or a way to get in? I am open to any advice or feedback. Thanks!

Don't do it. Stay in school and get your PA degree, go into ortho or another specialty, or even GP- we need more good mid-levels and it is a true career track.

If you are a Minority, it’s next to impossible. It’s a “Good Ole Boy” industry. Make sure you know the actual Hiring Person. Being referred is not enough. Good Luck.

DME Sales is a decent way to break in. Pay isn't great but if you can establish yourself and put a few years in year, you can transition into higher end sales jobs with medical device manufacturing
