I interviewed a few weeks ago for a position and I am thankful "they" decided to move onion a different direction. Money isn't everything and it's not the key to happiness. I have a very successful documented track record and I've been able to do this by not always "closing" the deal! I wasn't aware that the company had so much grumbling and lack of leadership. I was warned by a previous rep but you take that for what's it's worth. During the interview process, they claimed that they are putting programs in place for development, promotion opportunities, and creating a high performing culture. That should of been a red flag, but at the time it appeared to be appealing. I was once told that "I don't wish a career in pharma on my worst enemy". Being in this industry now for a short time I can now see why. Loyalty does not exist and hard work is not appreciated.
