Longer than a week?

Has anyone that interviewed recently had to wait longer than a week before you received reject or moving forward email?

I interviewed in Dallas last Wednesday, received an email Thursday that I was moving forward and the email included a disclosure release form (or some similar name) to fill out in order to perform a background check. I returned it immediately and still haven't heard anything. My references have not been contacted yet either so I'm not sure what to expect.

They haven't made offers yet. Finishing background checks. If you haven't received a request for background check and your ftf was last week, I might be concerned.

Not true, I interviewed on 2.11 and didn't get my background check email till 2.17. So there is still hope...

last week at my interview they said they were still going to be interviewing candidates this week (being the final week). so i wouldn't give up all hope. to the poster above- you give me an ounce of hope!

Got my background check email a few hours after the interview.

I received mine 5 days after f2f. not that that means anything, but it's nice to hear how its working for others. I wouldn't give up hope yet.

I spoke with HR after my interview last week. They are only doing the background checks and not contacting references.
