Lol!

I read that even if they do eventually get approved for NASH, this would cause an additional delay of up to 2 years. There is no way they are keeping all of us for PBC and there is no way to do NASH disease state education for 2 years. Here is how I see this going:

Scenario 1: Lay-off all new NASH hires and terminate Syneos contract. Original PBC reps will continue to promote in PBC.

Scenario 2: Lay-off all Syneos hires and replace them with all of the new Intercept NASH direct hires. About 1/3 off new Intercept NASH hires will also be terminated to get the numbers down to a reasonable level. Everyone will sell in PBC space.

Scenario 3: Keep Syneos hires that were here for PBC originally, lay-off Syneos hires that were hired for NASH last Fall, and layoff all new Intercept NASH hires. This will essentialy take the sales force back to the configuration of what it was pre NASH hiring.

Thoughts?

I don't think you read this anywhere. You are just guessing what could happen. Unless you care to share where you read this?

Now we have call at 12:30. Does Syneos have a call today too?

Do you think they will just lay-off all of the NASH hires and keep the original PBC team? The company may want to weed out some of the non productive PBC folks too....so it may be on a case by case basis. Because the sales force is so small I would assume that they decide on who to keep and who to let go vs. hiring some outside consulting firm that knows nothing to decide.

The only thing we’ll learn on this call is how much of a severance we’ll get. I’m not expecting more than 2 weeks. Good luck to us all

Such cocky senior leadership who were SO convinced that we’d get approval by now. They thought anyone who didn’t want to join or leave the company was a complete moron and now? Should have left when I had the opportunity. Anyone who stayed here thinking the stock price would pop is kicking themselves in the ass right now. If we had gotten rid of MP, RK, DF, CW in favor of more competent leaders we maybe could have had a chance.
