Gilligan came from Abbott!The entire executive team (commercial, R&D, senior leadership) needs to walk the plank. They really dropped the ball when it came to their forward strategy. No future planning (until wall street beats them over the head and then they start with their "we are looking for M&A opportunities"). Now they are trying to play catch up. Possibly some experience from outside of Gilead would help us. Having an entire career at one company, especially in this industry, is not added value for a CEO role when it comes to critical thinking on how to move forward and fast.

This is a true statement of the HCV team. The leadership at Gilead sucks and not just the field but the marketing "leadership" as well. What an f'ing joke.
