Linvatec Mission Statement

After reading some of these posts I reflect back to my time with Linvawreck. Wan't King Darling's mission statment someting about Linvawreck being the global leader in sports medicine by 2013?

We are closing in on 2013, anyone care to give their opinion of how close this train wreck is to that goal?

Well,.... ummm,..... well,..... boy that is a tough one to answer. I think we are still global, and in Linvawreck world that is pretty amazing. Besides, this isn't his fault it is all the sales force's fault didn't we just get a new catalog?

Pretty sure Linvatec just gave me a bitchin Hip tray, Ynots that don't pull out, peeks 2.1 and 2.6 for instability with BC on the way and have
Some good things in the pipeline. Stryker, Mitek etc are doing it with less. Maybe you should look in the mirror rather than blaming someone else?

Very well said, I am happy that at least one person stood up for Linvatec and the "bitchin" hip tray. But, the question remains, how close are you to the promised commitment of being the global leader by 2013? I am not with Linvatec, merely someone that holds stock and just found this site and am curious about the view from the inside. Thanks

Here lies the problem with all of the companies today....it is mr stock holder...yes look in the mirror. The stock price from minute to minute goes up and down. When it drops you want a change in leadership...unfortunately their are no leaders anymore because all the CEO's know that they have to constantly make short term decisions to keep the price up and keep their job. Any good long term change would cause a dip in the price and they will be gone. The vision today is only 5 min ahead instead of 5 years!

Irrelevent.

Without stockholders, you don't have a job.

That was his promise. I was sitting in the front row when he made that statement! Well, I have left the organization and we can only hope that your senior management will be gone soon also.

Leader? Far from it, there are brand new companies introducing products that are superior to Linvawreck's lame offering. One thong is true though....the gray universal cannula still holds up to the competition. Oh, and the puddle vac does its job.

The running joke in Largo is that the big winners are those employees getting laid off. They'd have 3/4 of the company walk out if Conmed offered six months severence to any employee that volunteered to quit.

When this is all done there will be nothing left. The leadership that came into power a few years back are like the parasites that eat a beast from the inside out. They have their blood sucking hooks dug in and they will hold on until the last dying breath escapes what was once a flourishing company.

How pathetic Linvatec has become. It must make those that built Concept and then Linvatec into a competitive company, sad or angry to see what it has become. I used to sell against them and they had pride in themselves and their company. But, from what I read here that is all gone. It is too bad for those of you that are still involved, it seems that it just keeps spiraling down. Both in management and product offering.
