For your patients with Type 2 Diabetes, if they don't want a shot-give them Tradjenta After all, why bother reading all the fine print about studies and efficacy, blah blah blah. The most important aspect of choosing a drug for your patients is the delivery. Followed closely by color of course. Then if you actually have a patient that walks in saying "I am not leaving the office until you prescribe me an injectable medication", why not offer Byetta. But really since this patient is ASKING for a shot go ahead and load em up with Humalog 50/50 tid. Once they get tired of all the shots and come back saying they don't want a shot, go back to Tradjenta again. Won't this merry go round game be FUN doc?!
