I just got a call from a head hunter wanting to know if I would be willing to work for a certain department at Lilly through an insourcing partner. It turns out the position he is trying to fill is my old position in what is left of my old department! What did I say after I finished laughing my head off? "You can tell Eli Lilly and Company to KISS MY ASS."

I did not apply, they had my CV from my redeployment days in 2010. I wasn't unemployed very long and am still in Indy and just down one exit down from Lilly.

Try to see it from my point of view, the chinese outsourcing didn't work for them, the call made my day.

Cool! YOU are the success story, Lilly is the loser.

Sadly, often the best folks leave voluntarily - just as bad for Lilly.

We at Lilly had NO IDEA about the cliff we were going over when implementing draconian employment practices.

It's true! I received a call from Aerotek this week trying to fill the AMRI positions at LCC. The recruiter sounding rather desperate to rpund up suitable candidates. LLY is going to be circling the drain soon. Anyone still holding stock should consider getting out now.

P.S. remember when they used to claim they were on pace to launch 2 new products per year starting in 2013? Don't hear that line anymore LOL!
