A takeover will never happen. Think about it, how many products does Forest own? Zero. Forest merely has marketing rights to sell said drugs in the U.S. for the companies that developed them. Every one of our product contracts has a built in nuclear option, so if we are bought, any right to promote the drug reverts back to the maker of each product. This was one of Howard Salomon's many ideas to keep us from a hostile takeover. If we were bought they would have a sales force without any products. Our R&D is only for the purpose of getting drugs we want to sell through the FDA with U.S. run studies, as well as new indications during their product life.
