Lilly Takeover Coming soon :)

I call BULLSH*T!!! The guy who wrote this article is some nobody trader with a bunch of LLY shares and some probably just bought some FRX stock and he's trying to make a quick buck by starting rumors. Who the hell is N.A. anyway?!? I just Googled his name, lol. He's playing the best supporting role in next year's sequel to The Boiler Room. N.A...ha! Mr. N.A. who makes baller ($750) political contributions to Democrats for NY congress. This guy is just like Obama and other liberal Democrats....they've all determined that if they can control the economy, they can control the American people.

I don't know if this is BS or not, but if you look at the big picture things do not seem very bright for forest reps. Between the contract reps for no reason with us having a bloated sales force, Lexapro going of patient, and now take over talks. I would say a lot of our days are numbered here.

Why would lilly buy forest and take on another 3000 reps! How stupid is this. You are an idiot

wow, first day in pharma? if lilly were to buy forest, or is anyone lillys size was to buy forest the 3000 you speak of would all be kabbboooosssshhhhhh.....gone, chopped and told to get to stepping...no doubt about it. A lilly merger would certainly mean you hack used car salesment of forest would all be packing your bag and not your lunches this time.

A takeover will never happen. Think about it, how many products does Forest own? Zero. Forest merely has marketing rights to sell said drugs in the U.S. for the companies that developed them. Every one of our product contracts has a built in nuclear option, so if we are bought, any right to promote the drug reverts back to the maker of each product. This was one of Howard Salomon's many ideas to keep us from a hostile takeover. If we were bought they would have a sales force without any products. Our R&D is only for the purpose of getting drugs we want to sell through the FDA with U.S. run studies, as well as new indications during their product life.

Even though I don't care for Forest and how they do things, I have to give them credit for the way they set this up.

Wrong! If Forest is bought out, and it will be, there is no super HS clause to protect a salesforce, that is just bunk. It there is a merger, and that merging company already has a large sales presence, the forest carry overs and force in will not only have to re interview for a possible open spot, but 95% of them will be RIF'ed. Without a blink of the eye. Wake up junior. You are one misguided fool.

Agian, what in the fuck makes you think that Lilly would "take on any forest reps", that is comical, not only does lilly have enough reps, they have too stinky many of them. If lilly is the buyer, the forest salesforce is dust. It is that simple.

Dumb ass children,

If you have been around a while (and paying attention) you know you can't 'buy Forest'. My God, this is why we need to do better than hiring from freekin' Enterprise.

and just what the fuck would the companies that developed them do if they got them back moron? .... immediately sign a license agreement with whoever aquired the sales force and not skip a beat. Stop drinking the koolaid dumbass!

Forest ends up with the products that no other company wants. They just got lucky with Lexapro because of the huge placebo effect in treating depression. It's not like measuring someone's blood pressure. Most people come out of depression on their own in time - with or without the help of an antidepressant. Forest just sits around and waits for something that no one else wants to buy and takes it's low life reps and pushes it. It does not matter how crappy the drug is. Viibryd is a joke - most patients can not tolerate it. Lilly has too much class to consider Forest. And Lilly unlike Forest actually invests their profits in research to help find new drugs for patients - unlike Forest that only cares about taking money from patients.
