Lilly Does Not Care About Our Customers

The senior executives at Lilly USA and the Cialis brand team have frequently and consistently droned on about how our customers come first. How its all about doing the right thing for the patient. I am calling BS!
Everyone with an IQ above 50 knows that both our physicans and patients prefer the prn version of Cialis rather than once daily. Yet, purely for reasons of profitability, we are instructed (and incentivized) to sell only the once daily.
This is the exact opposite of walking the talk.

Check out your business card.....it says Sales Representative! All customers use Cialis PRN, but with a new indication the focus of our discussions should be informing our customers that some not all there patients might benefit for daily use. If you have an issue with this then I really hope your not on my team. A true poor hire from someone..

All I am saying is that it should be the choice of the patient, in partnership with his physician, as to which form of Cialis is best. Given that, Lilly sales reps should be rewarded for prescriptions of both versions of Cialis. If you don't get that, then you, not me, are the bad hire.

That is correct. Look at what happened to Netflix when they changed pricing plans. Nobody wanted it - and the company looked like the next Enron for a while.

The smartest guys in the room are the customers, don't forget that.

However, that's not YOUR role. You aren't a corporate ambassador, you're a sales rep. Lilly pays you to do things that help drive profit. Quit thinking you're more important than you are. They're aren't asking you to play every role in the company, just yours.

Wrong. The customer is always right. In fact, there are gray-market versions of our drugs available from China at a fraction of the price. Wake up.

I think you are referring to sildenifil analogs, although tadalifil analogs can't be too far off.

Never underestimate the chemists, where ever they are!

You and our former Sr VP of Lilly NS, Mike Mason, are obviously not on the same page.

Lilly really seem's like they don't give a crap about the customer, the patient. As an employee working in one of the distribution center's here in the US, we may be a week behind in order's at times but they don't care. They don't want to ask anyone for help because it makes us "look bad"? What about the patient? Don't they really need the medicine they have ordered?

You don't understand, the people in power have "systems" in place to make sure the "customer" gets their medicine at the lowest possible cost. They have endless meetings and drycleaning bills that could finance the whole FDA, but never actually roll up their sleeves to lend a hand. Get your experience and move on, while the company still has a good reputation.

I think you have completely missed the point. If our job is to drive sales that is fine with me. Daily Cialis may not be what the physicians and patients prefer but I can press on and try to convert as much prn to daily as possible. Not a problem.
What bugs the crap out of me is when the "senior leaders" in the company preach to us about how it is all about the customer, all about the patient. It is clearly not so quit the BS.

The "customer" and the "patient" are two different beings. Patients see doctors and get pills, Customers but our stock. Don't ever forget that. We are a financial company that happens to sell products in health care. If we could make more money in another industry or market, we would do it in a heartbeat.

Hey doufus, you still don't get it. Please reread the post, a little slower this time.
