Lilly’s diversity stops with Christianity

Lilly must have forgot when they scheduled a diabetes meeting in Anaheim this week. They scheduled it during the Most Holy weeks of the Christian religion! If this had been a Muslim holiday they wouldn’t have scheduled this meeting! Some respect for people! I guess their DIVERSITY stops with Christianity!
 












Wow, that must have been a horrible sacrifice for you. Christians have to sacrifice so much at Lilly. I don’t know how you do it. You probably should ask your boss for extra pay, for working on a Christian holiday and having to sacrifice so much. I wonder if there are any churches in Anaheim that you could attend and talk about your horrible employer.
 












They were probably just excited they got a great rate since no one else was meeting. In the US Lilly doesn’t really give a crap about anyone’s religion. They schedule major meetings or events on Jewish high holy days. They may have a Muslim diversity group but I don’t think they care much about it. The U.K. though still gets a 4-day weekend. So hats off to them.

Spoken like the true religious zealot you are. Practice your hypocrisy on some other blog. If you believe your fairy tale book, go do what it tells you, and start preaching in the Middle East, say Riyadh, Doha, Qatar, or maybe even Baghdad. Let me know how that works out for you. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt! Religious wars are great for many things: entertaining TV, cleansing the gene pool etc.

Nice. The interesting thing for me was getting talked into a Mega-church Easter service one year in Carmel. I saw of bunch of people from Lilly that would push their mother out of the way to steal a nickel from their sister, like the former Sales Director, CP from Oncology. That was all the hypocrisy I could stand.
